After the cancellation of Tocal Field Days in 2020 due to Covid-19, it was great to see such a great community event back for 2021.With this year’s event seeing the largest crowds in the history of Tocal.
For our team here at Wildthing Environmental Consultants it was such an amazing turn out, with lots of people interested in the environment and wanting to chat. Our consultants saw a lot of interest in stewardship sites and nest box installation – selling a number of brush tail possum boxes as a result. The Tocal Field Days were also a wonderful networking opportunity for our field staff to collaborate with the various government agencies, who were also exhibiting at the event.
Our team were on site for all three days of Tocal and all expressed that the weekend was a successful, fun experience. We are looking forward to being a part of the event again next year.
